We are so proud that EZIM has come to another minor version release. After a year of work, lots of improvements were made. Of course, we would not be able to come this far without your support. This is another improvement release, which is also considered to be a release candidate of our next minor version 1.2.0. Minor UI improvements are added along with a new user manual. If nothing goes terribly wrong, version 1.2.0 is expected within this year.

After months of inaction, I finally had time (one day) to put back on this little project.

This is another improvement release where support for multi-recipient in private messages is the highlight. Button and state images are modified for better readability and are now manipulated with sprite files.

Despite of being such a haste, everything should be in place regarding to its functionalities. I hope you all like this latest release. Don't forget to feed us back if issue occurs.

This is an improvement release. The ACK protocol was modified for better conformance. User manual is updated to reflect changes done in prior versions.

Since changes made in the ACK protocol may yield to incompatibility with prior versions, all users are recommended to update to this latest version.

This is another improvement release. Changes made include support for multihomed hosts and Italian translations (thanks to joker joker).

For multihomed hosts, we can now specify the local IP, which is derived from the corresponding network interface, for EZIM to use in the preference window. IPv6 support is also added along with multihomed host support. However, since we don't have a router which supports IPv6 on the LAN side, things have not been tested thoroughly and your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

So please take some time to try it out and do not forget to report back if you happen to find any bug.

This is an improvement release. Changes in this latest version include a case-insensitively sorted contact list, multiple local address support, and directory memorization for file dialogs.

This is a bug fix release. A number of corrections are made since last version, data manipulation is improved, error handling is strengthened, and Portuguese translation is added (many thanks to Raphaneto Firmino).

While no protocol change means ezim-1.1.2 should be compatible to prior releases, all users are recommended to upgrade for its improved stability.

This is an improvement release with, as always, some minor issues fixed. Along with that, Spanish language support is added (thanks to Jose Miguel Diez de la Lastra for the actual translations), reply message quote format changed (thanks to katzul for the suggestion), and sound effect supports are implemented (thanks to pcci for the reminder).

While this latest should be fully compatible with the previous version (1.1.0), users are still recommended to upgrade for those new features and changes made to maximize their experience with ezim.

This is a minor version release of ezim, as opposed to the typo we made during the previous release. Bugs are fixed and minimal error logging is added... finally. *phew*

In addition to the program itself, we have also modified the user manual (which is merely a text file) to reflect things which are added or changed.

This is a bugfix and improvement release, which is also considered as the RC2 of the upcoming stable version 1.0.0. Due to the fact that the identifier of the ACK protocol has changed, this new release will not be able to communicate with prior versions.

This is another maintenance release, which is also considered as the first release candidate of the upcoming version 1.0.0. Only some minor changes regarding to the UI are made in this release, but we suggest all of you upgrade to this latest release.

It would be really appreciated if you could take time to find out and tell us what should be fixed but remained untouched, especially if you're using EZ Intranet Messenger on a Mac or a Solaris, because we simply don't have the resources to test it on our own.

This is a maintenance release. Some of the potential mis-behaviors are fixed. More state icons are added, together with some modifications on the user interface. Although it is not a must, users are encouraged to update to this latest release.

The major change in this release is the user state changer, which allows user to change the icon representing their online status: "online(normal)", "do not disturb", and "away". Please notice that this version may not be able to communicate with older versions properly. Every user is encouraged to update to this latest release. Please report any bug you may find and don't hesitate to post in the forums. Enjoy!

Trivial improvements are made in this release, which are mainly for file transmission. People who get irritated by the pop-ups in ezim-0.0.8 are encouraged to update. (Yeah! I hate pop-ups too... especially on my web browser. :P)

This is an urgent bugfix release. A serious bug which is caused by a stupid mistake has been fixed. (if you want to know what it is, check out the source code and you'll see. :P)

User interface changed, underlying protocol rewritten, and, of course, new features added!

Security hole fixes, user interface enhancements, and German language support are added to this release.

This is an urgent bugfix release which has fixed the issue that the client freezes when it encounters a firewall upon sending message. Together with some major changes which are considered as the preparations of the next new feature, there are some radical changes in the protocol in this release. As a result, this release will not be able to communicate with older version(s).

New features, we can now see if other users have their "Plaza" window open. EZIM will launch and restore to the same size at the same location as it was, before it was closed during previous execution. Icons are also added to the interface.
